We are gods …?

There are many gods but this post is about a teaching going around that we are gods, these poor lost people tricked the same as Eve in the garden. Ha’Satan Says: “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (Gen. 3:5 KJV)

Man does become to know good and evil as a heavenly host would know. Does that make them a god? Not hardly. But now they do have “some” wisdom / knowledge that the angels hold. Remember this is about wisdom not becoming a self proclaimed god.

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Gen. 1:27 KJV)

Did the Creator make little gods or did He make beings in His own Image. Scripture is clear on this and if you need to re-read it over and over until this point comes crystal, please do. When placed in the garden Satan used this against the Created Beings Adam & Eve in tricking them, notably they were made in YAH’s image but they can be a Elohim themselves equal to the one who Created them, if they take the knowledge of good and evil.

Lets test this Spirit using in context Scripture:And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. (Exod. 7:1 KJV)

Did our Creator make Moses a god? Nope, using the wisdom and power of the True Creator made him a god to all who seen Moses perform these acts. Was it Moses doing these acts or was it the True Creator using Moses? Since Yahuah was giving the wisdom to Moses, Aaron and anyone watching did not see Yahuah, it appears Moses is a god.

“Thou shalt speak all that I command thee: and Aaron thy brother shall speak unto Pharaoh (Exod. 7:2 KJV)

As we can see Moses spoke nothing of himself everything he did was to prove who the real Elohim was, not that he was a god. To prove this point, lets once again look at scripture.

“And God said unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob (Exod. 3:15 KJV)

More than one time this is told to Moses and the children of Y’srael, who the True Creator of everything is, not giving his Glory to another calling them a Creator. Now many people crown themselves a god because of reading Psalms 82 lets take a look at it.

1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. 3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. 8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations. (Ps. 82:1-8 KJV)

I think this needs to be broken down where people are lacking wisdom and making up their own doctrine. Psalms 82 – God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. When we go to the Hebrew in English it’s a little “g’ being judged not the Creator Most High, not even a gods at all., but false gods.:

0430 אֱלֹהִים ‘elohiym {el-o-heem’} Meaning: 1) (plural) 1a) rulers, judges 1b) divine ones 1c) angels

Are you a man of authority? Such as a king, president, judge, divine heavenly host or an angel? First of all if you are not one of those things this only pertains to you as a lesson of knowing how to select a good king / leader and of course how to run our own household. But this Psalm is for those of authority not that they are gods but should have the “Justice” of a god, all right rulings (Torah) 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.Clearly we are talking about those in power being corrupt and dishonest, lifting themselves up as a god,

“Selah”05542 סֶלָה celah {seh’-law} Meaning: 1) to lift up, exalt

Okay we have corrupt men of authority declaring themselves as a god by not following the instructions of the Creator. He goes on to name their corruption and how to correct it. And then we read:

I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes. (Ps. 82:6-7 KJV)

Remember the Hebrew we just looked at::

0430 אֱלֹהִים ‘elohiym {el-o-heem’} Meaning: 1) (plural) 1a) rulers, judges 1b) divine ones 1c) angels

Why did Yah say they are gods?
Because they had the knowledge of Torah’s right rulings knowing good and evil, through the corruption they have chosen evil (remember the fallen angels) But this message is to the Flesh man as we can see the kings, judges even priest of this world will find the flesh death, same as the angels when it comes time for them to die. This is why in Ezekiel 28 Ha’Satan is referred to as a man.

Those holding the wisdom of the Most High that is given yet acts unjust will find the same death as the man who has no authority yet is claiming to be as full of wisdom as the True Creator. So the subject here in everything we have just studied is “WISDOM” of the Creators right rulings, laws, commandments, Torah.

So now we come to the point we must test this spirit we are understanding and we should go to Our King for the Wisdom we seek. Let us fast forward to Our King and the Pharisee accusing Him of claiming He was the Elohim:

“The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

(This is everything we just covered in the Tanakh)

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? (Jn. 10:33-36 KJV)

Now you really need to take this part in. Who did they call “gods” ? Those that the word of Elohim came to, the people sent out into this world carrying the wisdom and knowledge of Scripture these are people sanctified. The only way one becomes “sanctified / purified” is to be chosen, cleansed and given the Ruach.

So the little “g” amounts to being a chosen son (set apart) declared His procession. Our King told them this, same as I am telling you, and Our Messiah did not call Himself a GOD big “G or little g” and neither do I called myself one. I will kneel with my King as a Son of the Most High, not a False god.

Before I close this out, think about Moses in His transgression prideful speech, striking the rock twice in an effort to make a show being dramatic, a simple of a thing as it was, it came from the wickedness of his heart. In Deut 52 Yahuah gives the reason that Moses was not permitted to enter the Promised Land:

“This is because . . . you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites. (Making yourself a god)Therefore, you will see the land only from a distance; you will not enter the land I am giving to the people of Israel.”

Yahuah was true to His promise. He showed Moses the Promised Land, but did not let him enter in. Moses didn’t enter the Land promised because he used his wisdom and knowledge to make himself a god as if the power was of his own. And you will not make it to the promised new kingdom if you are unjust as a leader including spiritual leaders. We are the Sons of “God” not gods. (interpreted) If you think yourself a god, you have created a false idol of yourself.

Prayerfully this helps people avoid the adversary when He whispers in your ear: “You will surely not die, you are a god knowing good and evil”

Shalom
